1. Cheap JetBlue Mint Fares Starting at $399 One-Way!
I’ve heard nothing but good things about JetBlue and their exceptional service, extra legroom, and generous snack policy. And lots of folks consider their Mint seats to be the best domestic Business Class seats you can fly!
Right now you can find some good deals on these fares through February 2018, from:
- Boston to Seattle for $399 one-way
- Boston to Las Vegas for $449 one-way
- Boston to San Diego for $499 one-way
There are also similar prices for return flights on all of these routes. The normal price for these seats can easily be $800 to $1,000, so this is a good deal if you can find dates that work for you.
And these seats can be a great deal if you have either the Chase Sapphire Reserve® or The Business Platinum® Card from American Express OPEN.
With the Chase Sapphire Reserve® you can pay for these fares with your Chase Ultimate Rewards points through the Chase Travel Portal at a rate of 1.5 cents per point. So they will cost 26,600 to ~33,267 Chase Ultimate Rewards points per one-way ticket!
If you pay for the flights with AMEX Membership Rewards points at 1 cent per point, it will cost you 39,900 to 49,900 AMEX Membership Rewards points to book the same flights. But because of the AMEX Business Platinum card’s 35% points rebate (if JetBlue is your selected airline) when you Pay with Points, it will only cost you 25,935 to 32,435 AMEX Membership Rewards points out of pocket after the rebate (39,900 to 49,900 AMEX Membership Rewards points – 35% points rebate)!
