1. Buy IHG Points With Up to a 100% Bonus
IHG is having a sale on points! The bonus is customized, but folks have reported being targeted for up to a 100% bonus on purchased IHG points.
The sale runs until August 22, 2018, at 11:59 pm Eastern Time.
Points must be purchased in 1,000-point increments, and there’s a limit of 100,000 purchased IHG points per calendar year (NOT counting bonus points).
If you are targeted for the 100% bonus (like I was!), you’ll pay just 0.5 cents per point ($1,000 / 200,000 points). IHG normally sells points for 1.15 to 1.35 cents each. Or if you’re comfortable with it, you can buy points for as little as 0.6 cents each with the IHG Points & Cash trick. So if you’re targeted for the 100% bonus, this is a good deal, if you have a specific use in mind.
For example, a Category 1 IHG hotel costs 10,000 IHG points per night. So you could buy nights at those hotels for $50 (10,000 X 0.5 cents per point).

2. JetBlue Fare Sale From $59 One-Way
JetBlue is having another fare sale. You must book your flight by tomorrow, July 20, 2018, the earlier of 11:59 pm Eastern Time or local time.
Fares start at just $59 one-way, although most are higher. You’ll find cheap fares like:
- Ft. Lauderdale to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico for $59 one-way
- New York (JFK) to Nassau, Bahamas for $124 one-way
- Orlando to Bogota, Colombia for $154 one -way
The sale is valid for travel between September 5 and November 7, 2018. Blackout dates apply from October 4 to October 8, 2018. And there may be additional blackout dates or restrictions that vary by route.
You can also use JetBlue points to book a sale fare. JetBlue award flight prices are directly related to the cash price of the ticket, so you’ll save lots of points, too! Tickets start at just 2,200 JetBlue points + ~$6 in fees.
