Le Club AccorHotels has introduced new airline partner that is China based Hainan Airlines Fortune Wings Club.
Fortune Wings Club members can now earn miles for their Accor stays or convert Le Club AccorHotels points to miles.

Hainan Airlines points to miles conversion is one of the exceptions:
For Fortune Wings Club (Hainan Airlines) the minimum threshold is 2,000 Rewards Points = 1,000 Fortune Wings points, with a maximum conversion threshold of 200,000 Rewards points per member, per year.
Conclusion
It is always good to have more airline partners with all hotel programs just in case you need to top up an account for an award. I would say that it usually makes most sense to earn hotel points and use them towards free hotel nights outside of specific airline partner promos.
