Intl paid J on VS – earning opportunites?

I bought a business class ticket on Virgin Atlantic for later this year and added my DL Skymiles number during booking. With the Delta partner earnings, this will get me to Gold Medallion for 2024. (Silver this year.)

Now I am wondering if there might be better earning opportunities on another airline. I have a Flying Blue account but not Virgin Atlantic. Delta is my primary carrier and I usually fly overseas once or twice a year. Several domestic US trips annually.

Thoughts?
