Is Frankfurt worth visiting? Frankfurt may not be the first city in Germany that comes to mind for a weekend citybreak in Europe, but it’s worth considering given Frankfurt’s excellent air and rail connections and day trip possibilities. We’ve visited Frankfurt a number of times both on short layovers when flying through Frankfurt Airport and deliberately as our target destination.
