IHG runs an InterContinental Ambassador paid guest recognition program for stays at InterContinental hotels that supplements IHG One Rewards.
The renewal or signing up for Ambassador also extended your IHG One Rewards status (Diamond as it comes with Platinum), but that stopped last year. There have often been renewal offers for new signups or renewals, but those haven’t been around for a year. Existing members who renew are still eligible for 15,000 bonus points.
