In 2018, I hiked most of the Camino San Salvador, but on the fourth night, I became quite sick from a stomach virus or food poisoning, which meant I had to take the train into Oviedo on the last day. It always bothered me about never walking those last few KM, and as the Camino Allerano links the Camino Olvidado to the San Salvador, it was a good reason for me to do it.
