American Airlines announced back in February (read more here) that it will remove Loyalty Points and AAdvantage miles earnings on most tickets not purchased directly with the airline for tickets issued on or after May 1 that have now been delayed until July 11.
You can continue earning Loyalty Points and AAdvantage miles for tickets purchased directly with American, eligible partner airlines, and through preferred agencies, whatever they might be.
