Paris Luxury Hotel Demand Has Collapsed Before The Olympics

Paris luxury hoteliers have realized what many other host cities have previously experienced: While occupancy during the games is close to 100%, the few weeks before and after the Olympics are a total disaster.

Bloomberg News (access here) reported that luxury accommodation demand was down between 20% and 50% at hotels charging more than 800 euros per night from late June until the Olympics.
