All good things must come to an end, even if the end is in Spain’s worst hotel. However, before the disastrous visit to Zaragoza, population 686,986, I had an amazing day crossing off one of the places on my Spanish Bucket List.
The day started early as I was on the road by 7.30 to see a beautiful sunrise over the barren Navarra landscape–the route went near the Bardenas Reales, which is on my list for another time.
