American Airlines is joining the airlines that have decided to offer complimentary inflight WiFi starting in January 2026.
The only catch is that you must be an AAdvantage member, and the free Wi-Fi will be only available on aircraft equipped with Viasat and Intelsat connectivity, which represents roughly 90% of AA’s fleet.
