Airberlin filed for bankruptcy in late August (read more here) and its Topbonus program soon followed (read more here). It is likely that Airberlin will soon cease to exist and planes and crews will just move to work for other airlines. TopBonus suspends operations, and I’m actually surprised
Written by Seth Miller @ Wandering Aramean
Great promos and status match opportunities, perhaps, but Air Berlin’s topbonus program might not survive the company’s bankruptcy, even if just to sell off the customer data as an asset to pay off the debt. Oh, and a bunch of consumers likely got screwed along the way.
